I got to know about him from one of
student cum friend – Vinit Katkar in 2013. He told me about Sir’s contribution
towards the society and how he has inspired lives of many. We became friends on
facebook. Few years ago, I met him first at Jotiba Road near Mahalaxmi Temple,
and as described by Vinit, he was a pillar of positive vibes. Even today, he
has left no stone unturned and is keeping up with his passion. All thanks to

16. "Champion of British Formula 3 - Krishnaraaj Mahadik"
It was 2012, Shantiniketan school assembly time, I was
waiting for my turn to go on stage and announce about this young boy who
achieved remarkable feats in motor racing. I had a small talk with him that
day, and was damn surprised to know about all his achievements. Above all,
though he being a Hero, a Champion of motor racing and a son of a politician,
he was still down to earth, what impressed me most was his humbleness. August 2017, he not only made Kolhapur but the
whole of nation proud by his remarkable achievement to be the 2nd Indian
to win BRDC British Formula 3. This is for you Krishnaraj.. Cheers J
15. "Youngest Author - Praneel Bhosale"
I met him first at Sanjeevan Knowledge City, Panhala in 2014-15. He was a 10th std student. I was very surprised that at such a tender age he wanted to publish a book. I tried my best to guide him and even I was motivated as this was the very first time I came across the youngest author. Praneel, I know, its too late to appreciate you for this, but then, better late than never.. So this is for you.. I’m sure you will go a long way and achieve all your desired goals.. J
13. "Richi Fernandis Sir"
I entered the world of football because of him. He helped me walk
in to the real world and face the challenges. He made me persistent. It’s
because of him that I shined during my school days. He is known by all in
Kolhapur for his outstanding skills. He has maintained the highest standards possible in
his teaching, coaching and training. He has inspired thousands of people to
embrace football game & ethics as a way to live life filled with joy,
integrity and balance. And he is none other than – Richi Fernandis Sir..

9. "Dentist - Deepak Satpute"
Dentist Deepak Satpute – has named his clinic as “आई क्लिनिक”
(Aai
Clinic) which is situated in nangiwali chowk, Kolhapur. I suffered from severe
toothache and so I consulted Dr. Satpute and he suggested doing root canal.
Initially, I was damn scared as injections were to be given in gums but he did
the treatment with great care and concern and I was again in action eating my
favourite food. Thanks to his vast experience and worldly knowledge that I
could now eat smoothly. Thought of thanking him in a different way, so a poem
for him. Spreading happiness.. J
